Description of something that fits a palm of a hand

"Bundle of Life"

In this world, there are many things that are small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. One is incredibly tiny, only one inch tall, and twice as long, yet filled with life. If someone picked it up, they could feel it's smooth, rubber-like skin, stretched tightly over the minuscule frame. A tiny heart would thump lightly against his skin, and the miniature nails gently scrape across his palm. Two tiny ears, not yet able to hear, are pinned against the small round head. Four weak legs emerge from the round body. When disturbed, the tiny mouth opens, emitting a high pitched squeak. The tiny nose on the end of the muzzle flares gently, searching for the scent of its mama. Closed tightly against the outside world, are two tiny eyes. This bundle of life will not stay tiny for long, but will grow into a beautiful, sleek rabbit.

Rhyming, Rhythmic Riddle

"Jack-of-All-Trades"

I'm taken to shows, or kept as a pet,
I'm the best meat you've ever had yet.
I'll live in a cage, a hutch, or a pen,
Or even your room if I'm housebroken.
I'm used for fur and often for wool,
No need to worry, I don't pant or drool.
Some keep me for hobby, some for a friend.
My nose and my ears, I’m sure set a trend.
My ears can be long, or tiny and short.
I can be lynx, red, black, or tort.
I may be seen in other colors, too.
There is even a variety that is called blue!
I’m very quiet and don’t make a sound,
I’m a jack-of-all-trades as you have found.
Do you know what I am? I’ll give you a try,
You may not know until a rabbit hops by!
