About Amber
I started in rabbits in 2000 when I finally convinced my parents to let me buy a Netherland Dwarf to use for 4-H. He was very fat and I was very oblivious to the world of rabbits. We showed one time at the fair and I was hooked. I bought some Satins and later added a pair of Tans. A year later I added Himalayans which became my favorites quickly because of their gentle personalities, great mothering skills, and just plain cuteness. I've been breeding Himalayans, Tans, and Satins for the past years among a smattering of other breeds which where either rescues or just plain random.
Two years ago, I added Silver Fox to my list. Silver Fox had been a dream of mine for quite some time and I was really excited to have them. I had to sell most of my rabbits last spring because I felt called to attend a missionary training school in Wyoming. I still have a few Himalayans, but only a few because I'm in college and don't have the time or space for rabbits.
